Can you buy as a foreigner?
Licence required
Non-nationals need a Landholding Licence under the Landholding Control Act before they can hold title. The fee is 5% of the price or EC$2,500, whichever is greater — so on a modest plot the floor bites rather than the percentage.
Allow 4–8 weeks
Cabinet approval itself is usually 1–2 weeks; the rest is departmental processing.
