Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

How cancellations and refunds work, including the cases where we refund without being obliged to.

This document is a draft. It describes how the service actually works, but no lawyer has reviewed it. Do not rely on it, and do not take payment against it, until one has.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — the month, or the year on yearly billing — you keep your plan's features until then, and are not billed again.

When a paid plan ends, your account returns to Free. Listings above the free limit of 3 are not deleted — they stop being publicly visible until you either bring the count within the limit or resubscribe. You choose which listings stay live from your dashboard; until you do, it's the most recently updated. A listing with a front-page slot you've paid for stays live either way.

If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays on while the payment is retried, and your dashboard asks you to update your card. The plan only ends if the payment can't be collected.

Refunds on subscriptions

Within 30 days of your first payment: a full refund, for any reason or none. Ask and we will process it.

After that: subscriptions, monthly or yearly, are not refunded for the remainder of a period, because cancelling already stops the next charge. We will refund in full where:

  • You were charged after cancelling.
  • A yearly subscription renewed and you ask within 30 days of the renewal.
  • You were charged twice for the same period.
  • A fault on our side made the paid features unusable for a material part of the period.

Moving to yearly billing: the unused part of the month you have already paid for is credited against the year, so you are never charged twice for the same days.

If you are in the EU or UK, your statutory cancellation rights apply in addition to this and are not affected by anything here.

Front-page placement

Placement is bought for a fixed period on a specific listing, and inventory is limited — buying a slot takes it off the market for everyone else. It is therefore not refundable once the placement has started.

Before it starts, or if it never runs, we refund in full. That includes cases where:

  • The slot was sold twice.
  • The listing was not eligible for the section it was sold in, so the placement did nothing.
  • You cancel before the placement goes live.

If we remove a listing for breaking the listing rules while it holds a paid placement, the placement is forfeited and not refunded.

Verification review fee

Free-plan accounts pay $26 to have a verification application reviewed; every paid plan reviews at no charge. The fee pays for the review, not the outcome.

If the application is not approved, it is refunded in full, automatically — you do not need to ask. If it is approved, the fee is not refunded: the review it paid for was completed and granted the badge.

How to ask

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record, so refunds are issued through them and return to your original payment method. They usually appear within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.

Email [email protected] with the receipt, and we will confirm within two working days.
